Baybay Ono Shoreline
The
Baybay Ono beachfront is blessed with fine gray sand that covers the whole sea floor. Its clear waters come from the Pacific Ocean. Coconut trees, tropical plants and marine life around in the area. It is a favorite place for beach parties, swimming, walk on the sand, date and meditation.
Huyamao Island
This private mountain island is lush with vegetation. It is covered with white sand and is located in front of the
Baybay Ono shoreline. The waters surrounding the islands are clean and clear that objects lying on the seabed are seen while riding a
baroto or
bangsehan (pump boat)
Casa Rica Islet
Close to Huyamao Island, this islet is a marine and bird sanctuary. It has fine white sand coral formations and a cave. The
barangay officials of
Consuelo built a cottage and a diving board for the convenience of visitors to this islet.
Ayoke Islet
The lighthouse of Cantilan is located in this islet. It has fine white sand along its shores.
Ayoke is part of General Island.
Bag-ong Banwa
Bagong Banwa is part of General Island. It has a big cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Its shoreline is covered with white sand.
Blue Lagoon Cove
This cove that is located in General Island (
Isla) has bluish waters and coral rocks. It is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and aquaculture.
Danao Lake
This lake is located atop a mountain in General Island. It is a marvel of nature. When it is low tide at sea level, the tide is high in the lake and vice versa.
Malinawa Cool Spring
Water that flows from the spring in
Malinawa is refreshingly cold. The Municipality of Cantilan has developed the spring into a resort area with hotel and swimming pools. From the swimming pools, the water goes to the irrigation canals of the farmlands of Cantilan and Madrid.
Sipangpang Falls
The cascading twin falls that drops down 100 feet to the water catch basin is located in
barangay Cabangahan. It is planned to be the power source of a mini-hydro plant and also a water source for the farmlands of Cantilan and its neighboring towns.
Consuelo Rock Formations
The rock formations and caves of
Consuelo are interesting geological structures that are not only works of art but a story of creative wonder.
Magasang Hills
The hills of
Magasang are located in the middle of a rice field. The hills are rocks and layer of rocks that are lush with vegetation.
Malitangtang Hill
Cantilan's enchanted hill located between
Buntalid and
Tigabong and could be seen from the highway with its wild vegetation and rock formations.
